GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT
The Altamonte Springs (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, is comprised of distinguished professional women whose commitment to friendship and service has provided exceptional community service and resources to Central Florida communities for 35 years. Organized by Doreatha B. Orr and Eloise Sistrunk, they were joined by 22 charter members who founded the chapter on May 31, 1986.
The chapter’s rich and storied legacy of service and friendship aligns with the core values of The Links, Incorporated – one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations – to provide transformational and sustained civic engagement and be a catalyst for the improvement and enhancement of academic achievement, holistic wellness, civic engagement, and intercultural activities for the citizens and families in our community.

OUR CHAPTER PRESIDENTS
The Altamonte Springs Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was chartered as the 53rd chapter in the Southern Area on Saturday, May 31, 1986, at the Sheraton Maitland Hotel in Maitland, Florida. Established as an interest group in 1980, (NORCEFF) North Central Florida Friends, the community service organization of women was committed to programs under the following foci: Services to Youth, Freedom in the Arts, International Trends and National Trends.
